[carol spends so little of her time in the backyard that the sight of the flowers, alive and blooming, comes as something of a surprise to her. she hasn't been tending them, and badou definitely wouldn't, so that leaves one likely candidate, to her mind.

While he's busy being ashamed, I've got myself an adult haven of sorts.

Saw blueprints for it at one of the stores, thought it would be a good addition to a full house. [he's not offering any of the pouches to carol, but she can help herself to the boxes of them in a corner] Plus I needed a place to store mayonnaise.
